BIO
Internationally unsigned recording artist Adam the Gimbel has been practicing rock moves since he first heard "Turning Japanese" in 1980. Following a critically acclaimed Bar Mitzvah several years later, he took a decade vacation from performing to study exactly why he didn't want to be in the business end of the music business. Satisfied with his conclusions, he became the member of several short lived bands with great names (Suzanne & The Summerz, Cover Me Badd, and The Xanadu Project). Gimbel is currently trying to get wimprock out of his system in the form of half-finished acoustic based indie-popsongs. He calls San Diego his home but would like to relocate to London cerca 1966 as soon as he can get the 1.21 jiggowatts together. Last summer he made strides towards this goal by singing a Supergrass song in the Melody Maker tent at England's Reading Festival. Reports of him challenging the anti-American onlookers with the question "Who won the war in 1776?" are true but the rumors of Gimbel winning them over are just as true.
